Yorgos Soros is a Sociology graduate from Panteion University. He holds a postgraduate specialisation in Social Organisation and Change from the Department of Sociology at the University of Crete, where he’s currently a PhD candidate researching the alternative forms of syndicalism in Greece and Spain. In the past, he has worked as a Social Researcher in various programs, including transsol and the Observatory of Economic and Social Development of the Institute of Labor of GSEE. He’s interested in research regarding the sociology of employment relations, labor unions and social movements, among others. This period he is working as Project officer of social integration activities at the Department for the support and social inclusion of Migrants and Refugees of the Municipality of Athens
