The study and policy recommendations on culture examine the different dimensions of cultural and creative sectors in Greece through the following two aspects: their contribution to social and economic development. These two dimensions are of course not independent of each other. In order to fully unfold the potential of cultural and creative sectors, these two dimensions must be robust and the participation of society as a whole and in all parts of the country must be enabled and encouraged. At the same time, the contribution of culture to shaping values and economic development can only be realized if synergies are created with all the actors that shape social and economic life.
