MARTHA MICHAILIDOU
Associate Professor, Department of Communication, Media and Culture, Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences

Dr Martha Michailidou is Associate Professor at the Department of Communications, Media and Culture, Panteion University in Athens. She has participated in 15 national or international funded research projects. She is currently a member of the supervisory board of CORAL ITN, a Marie Sklodowska Curie Innovative Training Network (2021-2024), which aims to unpack the latent dynamics and impacts of collaborative workspaces in rural and peripheral areas and integrate them as development tools in local and regional policies to open up new potentials for socio-economic development and participates in GLAMMONS, which aims to develop new conceptualizations through the ways that theories of the commons and communing practices can provide a new transformative power for the GLAMS and the local communities. Her research interests include: labour in the creative/cultural industries, gender in the creative/cultural industries, multimethodological approaches to media and cultural research, and feminist and emergent methods.
