Achilleas Piliousis is a PhD candidate at the Department of Journalism and Mass Media Communication of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has studied Political Science at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and continued his academic studies at the Master’s level. He holds a Master’s degree in Communication from the same institution, specialising in Public Communication Campaigns and Audience Research. His scientific interests are oriented in the field of social psychology and communication. In particular, his research focuses on conspiracy thinking, fake news and misinformation in general, pro-environmental attitudes and behaviours, social influence, social identities, intergroup relations and media influence.
