This chapter’s objective is to document and examine the working conditions of actors in Greece, considering the impact of significant changes in the cultural and creative sectors, as well as the two consecutive crises (economic and pandemic). In particular, the chapter focuses on: a) the impact on employment regimes and working conditions; b) the strategies adopted by actors, and the skills and resources mobilised, to cope with the adversities of their working conditions in the absence of effective social protection policies and institutions. The analysis of the above is preceded by a literature review and followed by an investigation of the working conditions of actors in Greece based on the findings of two qualitative studies.
