The article “Greece. Towards decent working conditions in the entertainment and audiovisual sectors?” examines the ability of entertainment and audiovisual unions in Greece to regulate working conditions through Collective Labour Agreements (CLAs). This is considered in light of their bargaining capacity, ability to mobilise workers and resources, as well as the particularities of employment in these sectors. As in other sectors, unions have also experienced the negative long-term effects of budgetary austerity on collective bargaining. However, the Covid-19 crisis seems to have paved the way for a resurgence of unions and a re-regulation of labour relations, albeit not through traditional CLAs.
