PhD Candidate, Department of Sociology, University of Crete

Theodoros Koutros is a PhD Candidate in Sociology of Labour, Department of Sociology (University of Crete), with postgraduate studies in Social Innovation and Development Strategies (Department of Social and Educational Policy, University of Peloponnese & National Centre for Social Research) and Social and Solidarity Economy (School of Social Sciences, Hellenic Open University). He is a qualified architect (National Technical University of Athens) and a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece. He also holds short course diplomas in visual arts and design from Central Saint Martins College (University of Arts London). He has previously participated in visual arts projects and architectural competitions
and has been awarded an Honorable Mention (Acquisition Award) in the Panhellenic Student Architectural Competition for the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre Visitor Centre. His research interests include industrial sociology, cultural and creative industries and urban sociology.
