Paczyńska, A. (2021). Mapping Social Dialogue in the Commercial Live Performance Sector in Bulgaria, Czechia, Poland, Romania and Serbia. Final Report. EU Social Dialogue Committee for the Live Performance Sector.

This report is the result of a project initiated by European social partners in the live performance sector to map the state of social dialogue in five countries: Bulgaria, Czechia, Poland, Romania and Serbia. The study focuses on the commercial live performance segment—encompassing music, theatre, dance, circus and similar activities—run by entities that are for-profit or not-for-profit but operationally independent of the public sector. While exact statistics are lacking, employment in this segment is estimated at around 100,000 across the five countries, with organisations typically small in size and operating with diverse legal forms.
