Κυβέλη Κουβάτση: Περί χορευτικής εκπαίδευσης και άλλων μυστηρίων | Συνεντεύξεις αποφοίτων και τελειόφοιτων στο 2021

Πρόκειται για το αποτέλεσμα ενός ερευνητικού εγχειρήματος με θέμα την εκπαίδευση χορού στην Ελλάδα που ξεκίνησε τον Απρίλιο του 2021. Στο εγχείρημα αυτό, μέσω ανοιχτού καλέσματος και χωρίς επιλογή συμμετείχαν 24 άτομα, 13 τελειόφοιτοι/ες σπουδαστές/ριες χορού και 11 απόφοιτες, από σχολές χορού της Αθήνας, απαντώντας σε μια σειρά ερωτήσεων σχετικών με την εκπαίδευση και το επαγγελματικό πεδίο του χορού. Η ταινία που προέκυψε καταγράφει την οπτική και την εμπειρία των ατόμων που σπουδάζουν ή σπούδαζαν μέχρι πρόσφατα χορό, και επιδιώκει να φέρει τις ανησυχίες και τις ανάγκες τους σε επαφή με την καλλιτεχνική και εκπαιδευτική κοινότητα. Θέτοντας προς συζήτηση ερωτήματα που γεννιούνται μέσα από το ίδιο το σπουδαστικό σώμα, απώτερος στόχος είναι να φανταστούμε πώς θα θέλαμε να είναι η χορευτική εκπαίδευση και να πυροδοτήσουμε έναν ευρύτερο δημόσιο διάλογο επ’ αυτής. Το εγχείρημα αυτό είναι μια ανεξάρτητη πρωτοβουλία, δεν έχει κερδοσκοπικό χαρακτήρα, ούτε και χρηματοδοτείται από κάπου. Τα άτομα που εργαστήκαμε το κάναμε εθελοντικά πιστεύοντας στην αναγκαιότητα να ανοίξει ένας γόνιμος και αναστοχαστικός διάλογος για την εκπαίδευση του χορού, θέτοντας στο επίκεντρο τη γνώμη των ατόμων που τη βιώνουν. Μπορείς να ζεις από την μουσική; Μπορεί ο μουσικός να βιοπορίζεται από την ψυχαγωγία ή την εστίαση, τις συναυλίες, την ραδιοτηλεόραση, την δισκογραφία και το ψηφιακό περιβάλλον; Τι προσόντα και δεξιότητες χρειάζονται; Σε τι κατάσταση βρίσκεται η μουσική εκπαίδευση; Πόσο απαραίτητη είναι η επιμόρφωση; Η πολυαπασχόληση, η ετεροαπασχόληση και η εργασιακή επισφάλεια των μουσικών είναι εγχώρια ή παγκόσμια φαινόμενα; Τι μας έμαθε η κρίση και τι συμβαίνει με τις συλλογικότητες και τα σωματεία;

42 συνάδελφοι μουσικοί, ηχολήπτες και τραγουδιστές μιλούν για την τέχνη τους και την δουλειά τους. 42 εργαζόμενοι καλλιτέχνες αναρωτιούνται αν μπορείς να ζεις από την μουσική. Πώς το αποφάσισαν, τι αντιμετωπίζουν, με ποιους τρόπους ανταπεξέρχονται και γιατί επιμένουν.
